Marvel Rivals Reveals Gameplay of New ‘Breezy Butterfly’ Skin for Psylocke

Marvel Rivals has given players a first look at gameplay of the upcoming Breezy Butterfly skin for the popular Duelist Psylocke, which is scheduled to arrive in the game's shop on July 17 at 7 PM PDT. NetEase Games recently launched Season 3 of Marvel Rivals, adding the mutant Jean Grey to the title's ever-expanding roster.

It was recently announced that Marvel Rivals' July 17 update will be launching with some hero balance adjustments that target the Duelist Wolverine. The adjustments effectively nerf the popular hero, reducing his maximum damage output and increasing the cooldown of his regenerative abilities. Wolverine's team-up with Phoenix is also taking a bit of a hit, as the amount of lifesteal he benefits from is being reduced. Many Vanguard players were happy to hear the news, as some have claimed that Wolverine has felt unbalanced since the launch of Season 3.

In a recent post on Twitter, NetEase Games gave players their first look at gameplay of the upcoming Breezy Butterfly skin for the Duelist Psylocke in Marvel Rivals. In the footage, Psylocke can be seen sporting a teal and purple swimsuit as she seems to have fun on the beach. Her emote even shows her enjoying some time on a swing. NetEase Games recently revealed that the skin will be launching with two optional recolors that will also be sold in the shop for Unstable Molecules. According to content creator Miller Ross, Psylocke's Breezy Butterfly cosmetic bundle will be sold for 2,200 units.

Psylocke isn't the only hero with a new costume coming to the shop, as Marvel Rivals' Loki will also be receiving a summer makeover. While NetEase Games hasn't made an official statement about the price of the cosmetic, Miller Ross claims that the Robe of Relaxation bundle will be sold for 1,600 units when it arrives in the store on July 17. Players looking to acquire these new cosmetics will need to act fast, as they will only be available through August 14 at 7 PM PDT.

In addition to seeing new summer skins enter the shop, players will be able to partake in Marvel Rivals' Summer Special event, which is also launching on July 17. When players log into the game, they'll notice that they have access to a whole new pass with both free and premium rewards. Gamers will be able to earn Thor's Worthy Waves costume for free during the event, while players who wish to claim the new skins for The Thing and Luna Snow will need to pay for the premium pass. With a whole new season to enjoy and even more content just around the corner, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Marvel Rivals.
