Reddit user MarioHana14 shared the useful trick for speeding up a Pokemon's evolution to the Pokemon GO subreddit. The user shows off a video comparing the full animation for a Pokemon's evolution to the amount of time it takes for the player to close the app at the start of the evolution process and re-open Pokemon GO. The comparison reveals a significant time difference between the two methods, with Pokemon GO's evolution animation taking 20 seconds while the restart method only uses 11 seconds. MarioHana14 also shared the device they used for the test, confirming the Pokemon GO test was done on iPhone 15.
