Insomniac Games has rolled out a new update for Marvel Spider-Man 2, adding official PSSR 2.0 (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution) support for PlayStation 5 Pro, alongside two brand-new Peter Parker suits and additional gameplay enhancements.

The update introduces the Fresh Start Suit and the Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Suit, giving players new customization options while also improving the game's visual performance on Sony's latest console.

For PS5 Pro owners, native support for the enhanced PSSR 2.0 upscaling technology delivers sharper image quality and improved visual fidelity compared to the previous system-level implementation. The patch also includes support for Power Saver Mode, although the visual improvements from PSSR 2.0 are expected to be the highlight for most players.

PC users haven't been left out either. While platform-specific PlayStation features are absent, the PC version receives the same two new suits, keeping content consistent across both versions of the game.

The update arrives as Marvel's gaming lineup continues to expand, with MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls launching soon, followed by the highly anticipated Marvel's Wolverine, further strengthening Marvel's presence in modern gaming.
