Racing fans have a lot to look forward to after Xbox Developer Direct showcased more of Forza Horizon 6. The next installment in the acclaimed racing series looks stunning, and the minimum PC specifications have now been revealed—surprisingly, including Intel’s promising Arc B390 iGPU.
According to the game’s Steam page, the minimum requirements for Forza Horizon 6 are:
CPU: Intel i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600
RAM: 16GB
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1650, AMD RX 6500 XT, or Intel Arc A380 / Arc B390
Storage: SSD required
The Intel Arc B390 iGPU was recently showcased with the Core Ultra 3 series processors at CES, where Intel claimed it outperforms AMD’s best mobile graphics. Tests suggested that the Arc B390 can deliver up to 73% faster performance with upscaling and 82% faster at native resolution compared to AMD’s Ryzen AI HX 370, and even edges out the RTX 4050 by around 10%. The iGPU reportedly hit almost 55fps on Cyberpunk 2077 at 1200p high settings without upscaling.
Forza Horizon 6 will support upscaling technologies including Nvidia DLSS, AMD FSR, and Intel XeSS. Additional PC-specific features include ray tracing and uncapped framerates.
The full PC requirements will be confirmed closer to the game’s launch on May 19, 2026.
Set in Japan, Forza Horizon 6 continues the franchise’s open-world racing formula, featuring dense urban streets, winding mountain routes, and expansive highways, all enhanced with dynamic weather and seasonal changes. Playground Games promises upgraded lighting, richer environments, and extended PC features, with further gameplay and location details expected before launch.
