Borderlands 4 Players Have Until October 11 to Redeem 3 More Shift Codes

Borderlands 4 players can redeem three Shift codes until October 11, granting them keys to exclusive loot. Though Borderlands 4 has received numerous Shift codes since its release, most of them expire after a short period of time, so players shouldn't miss this opportunity.

One of the Borderlands franchise's major selling points has always been a wide array of weapons to find and use. Players can get through the game just fine with the weapons they find as drops and from killing bosses in Borderlands 4, but Shift keys offer an opportunity to get something extra special with no real effort required.

Borderlands 4 Releases Three New Shift Codes

Courtesy of Randy Pitchford, CEO of Gearbox, players now have three more Shift codes they can make use of. The codes are: TZ6TT-FKBKB-W6T35-BTTB3-636SR, JH63B-S5TK3-KFJJC-BBB3T-5KR63, and T963J-TRBKB-56JBW-3BJBJ-ZZ3JR. Each code will give players a single Golden Key for Borderlands 4, and can't be used towards any of the franchise's other games. The codes are set to expire within 48 hours of when they were posted, so players have until approximately 3:32 PM PT on October 11 to redeem them.

Those who are unfamiliar with the process to redeem Shift codes can rest easy, as it's a simple thing to do. There are two ways to redeem the codes: in-game, or on the official Borderlands Shift website. Codes can be entered in-game through the Shift menu on the Rewards tab. Those who would prefer to enter the codes through the website simply need to login with their Gearbox account credentials, and then paste the codes into the Code Redemption field under the Rewards tab. 

Once redeemed, users will receive their keys in-game, which can be used to open chests located in Belton's Bore, The Launchpad, Carcadia, or The Lockaway. Since Borderlands 4 came out not too long ago, those who miss out on their chance to redeem these keys shouldn't worry too much. Randy Pitchford has been sharing codes regularly, so players will definitely get another chance. However, most of them have had a brief period of redemption before expiring, so players will want to keep their eyes open for upcoming opportunities.

Borderlands 4 players have until september 19 to claim shift code

These Shift codes may be particularly welcomed by the community considering that some of Borderlands 4's best Legendary weapons are now inaccessible. Unfortunately, they were only made available by way of Twitch Drops in the early days of the game's launch, so players have no way of accessing the Midnight Defiance sniper rifle and Forsaken Chaos shotgun anymore. While these Shift codes can't be redeemed for them, players may be able to get even better loot by opening a chest with a Golden Key.
