The upcoming remake of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, now titled Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, has sparked discussion among fans even before its release. While excitement remains high for the return of one of the franchise’s most beloved entries, a key detail about the PlayStation 5 physical edition has raised concerns.

Ubisoft has officially confirmed that players who purchase the physical version of the game for PlayStation 5 will still need an active internet connection to install it. This means the disc will not contain the complete game data, requiring users to download additional content online.

The remake aims to stay faithful to the original pirate adventure while introducing modern enhancements. Players can expect improved visuals, refined combat mechanics, and approximately six hours of additional content that was originally cut due to development constraints.
